Looking for a few good blogs

By Know-it-All Nikki 9 Comments

When I feel like procrastinating, I read. I read everything I can get my hands on, including the junk mail.

It might explain why I like to write so much but I don’t think so. One of the things I have been doing this week is learning more about Entrecard. Sufficed to say, I love it. It’s turned me on to some really excellent blogs AAANND some really scary ones too. Because I want to expand my writing career, I’ve also been looking to add some new blogs to the blogroll.

I consider it fresh blood for the brain.  I need to read. It’s like a drug addiction, I can tell when I haven’t read anything meaningful in a while because when I do get my hands on a really good read, I fiend off it until it’s all used up. That was the case last week when I had a temporary loss of Internet. I grabbed one of the books I had bought recently, (I do that, buy a book and then never get around to reading it) and read it in under 2 days.

However, since I am online more often than not, blogs are what I turn to to keep my mind from turning into writing project mush.

What blogs do you recommend to keep the mind sharp and the brain from melting?

Man…I do not have any blogs to recommend for keeping the mind sharp. I no longer read blogs, but when I did, I only read the mindless ones because a girl can only do so much.

I just wanted to say, I most definitely will not kick your a$$ for saying my baby will be over 7 lbs. Supposedly they gain 1/2 an ounce per day. If she sticks to that, she’ll definitely be over 7 pounds. I’m very happy about that! I want a round and healthy baby as opposed to my twins who were only 3.5 and 4 lbs. πŸ™ Anyway, she can get as big as she wants since I don’t have to squeeze her out my girl parts. I’m extremely happy about that. So no a$$es will be kicked.

Hey there! I’m glad to see I will keep my a$$ for another day! I know what you mean by wanting round healthy babies. They filled my head with the scariest things!

Even the mindless blogs can keep us from losing our sanity! Especially when we are home with the kids all day!

Nichole, I have no blogs to recommend, but wanted to tell you that I do the same thing. Sometimes I just need my mind to wander and then I can get back to work. It’s just easier that way.

I enjoy your blog as one of them.
