I was without internet access again. I believe we are fixed and ready to go now though… Ahhhh the price we pay to upgrade. I will just say this. Microsoft’s tech support caused me more problems than they were worth.
Through all that commotion and distress I missed my anniversary. Not the one with my hubby, that was back in February and it was an un-anniversary because we were married on leap year. (yes. that was on purpose).
I missed my anniversary here. As of May 23rd, I have been blogging for 1 year in this chaotic home! Isn’t that awesome!!
I took a look back on some of my posts and I think that what so many people have said about blogging is true.
I started out with very little focus, direction and no clue what to make or do with this blog. But I have noticed that I have tried to turn it from a place for me to rant and rave and spew irritations from everyone from my family to the metermaid, there is a more constructive way to do it, a way to turn it into a post that doesn’t always leave my readers thinking, “What was that?” Hopefully, my readers can now decipher when I am ranting and when I have a point to make (I always have a point, I just don’t always get it out there).
I thought the blog would be a good way for me to deal with being at home all day now (and it has) a way to meet new people (OH yes it has!) and even help me on my way to being a successful freelance writer (getting there). I have learned a lot about blogging this last year.
It is a process to make a successful blog. It is a process to bring people in who want to read what you are putting out there.
All in all though, I am still evolving with this blog. I am having fun. I am meeting other bloggers and people are reading! I didn’t think anyone would want to read about me (I ramble a lot) but they are.
For instance, I don’t think I made a point in this post… other than to say, I am still here. I am having fun. It has been a great year!
