I realize that I have been dragging and not posting as often as I should be or want to. I think I might be in a blogging slump (otherwise known as slogging – coined by my cousin, I think).
The weather has been too nice to sit at my PC all day, I’m sorry but I just have to point out that even bloggers, good and bad have lives too.
Over the weekend, I think I was online twice and I really didn’t feel much like typing anything out or working. Period. So we went swimming. We packed up the kiddos and off to my dad’s to enjoy the pool. They all came back water-logged and tuckered out. It was fabulous. I highly recommend a day or two of swimming to wear out the children.
I made a couple of posts over at Watching ER. I have 2 more to add to the week and then that is it for now. So look for 2 more posts for Thursday and Friday, then nothing again until Monday. That doesn’t mean I don’t want you to visit. On the contrary, I do! I want you to visit, comment and discuss.
I have some editing to get back to Kelly. She is always so patient with me. She will be pleased to know that I couldn’t find anything. (she’s probably muttering that I must be kidding as she reads this). No. I am really not. I loved it (as always). But no major editing. I just need to get it back to her.
To make up for my lack of work (procrastination, she looks like me, but oh, so much more vile), I put in 5 queries this week. Either I am not being picky enough or Deb over at FWJ has more opportunities listed that I feel qualified for. Don’t know. Don’t care. Just someone send me some work. It’s going to be a long, hot summer if I don’t.
Ohhh!! That reminds me! I have 2 articles appearing in The Post this month. Hopefully they will print what I just sent them this morning and the other small piece that I sent over last week. I know it all depends on availiable space from the small newspapers but you know… I am not a patient person. Imagine my surprise when I saw TWO – 2 articles on Sunday. So sweet. My pictures even made it in also. (bonus party in my head). I want to link you all to the website so you can see me in journalistic action but its going to have to wait since the site is outdated. (By a month. Hmmph.
I do have more to write but I think I am going to sit on it for another day and let it work out in my head.
